“Global Sexual and Reproductive Health Act of 2013″ introduced in House
Representative Yvette Clark (D-NY, 9th) introduced the “Global Sexual and Reproductive Health Act of 2013” (H.R. 3206). Among other things, the bill authorizes U.S. assistance for developing countries in support of achieving universal access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH), reducing the incidence of unsafe abortions, and ensuring the provision of SRH services during humanitarian emergencies. The bill also requires the development and implementation of a strategy to improve linkages between SRH services and other global health efforts.
