USAID Releases New Issue Of 'FrontLines'

The September/October issue of USAID’s “FrontLines” focuses on the agency’s efforts to “engag[e] youth around the world and how it is embracing mobile technology,” according to an overview of the issue in USAID’s “IMPACTblog” (Rucker, 9/19). In his “Insights” column, USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah writes, “Many people will tell you that global challenges today are simply too big and complex to overcome. Challenges like ending extreme poverty or ending preventable child death. … But the truth is that today, more than ever, we have the technologies and knowledge to confront these challenges and brighten the future for millions of people around the world” (September/October 2012).
