Poll: Many Older Voters Are Unaware of Medicare Drug Price Negotiation but Awareness Has Grown in Recent Months
A new KFF poll focused on voters’ views of major health policy issues six months before the election, finds that many older voters are unaware of the provision in the Inflation Reduction Act that requires the federal government to negotiate the price of some prescription drugs in the Medicare program, a key campaign issue for President Biden. However, awareness has grown among older voters.
