Matthew Rae is a Senior Policy Analyst for the Health Care Marketplace Project at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. The Project provides information, research, and analysis about trends in the health care market and policy proposals that relate to the private insurance system. In such capacity, Matthew has worked on the Employer Health Benefit Survey since 2011.
He graduated with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) in addition to a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. Matthew recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Survey Design and Data Analysis at George Washington University. Prior to joining the Foundation, Matthew worked at the Government Accountability Office, Small Business Services within the City of New York, the Service Employees International Union and the Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals.
