Valerie Izaguirre is a program assistant at KFF for the Social Impact Media Program, where she provides support for the team’s efforts with social marketing, health communications, and campaign development.
Prior to joining KFF, Izaguirre worked closely with the undocumented community at her university’s DREAM Center, where she created educational workshops and programs, supervised a cohort of fellows, and marketed and recruited for events. For a university organization called Join Us Making Progress, Izaguirre coordinated, hosted and created marketing materials for volunteer events. She received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Sonoma State University.
