Emily, who was an award-winning reporter before becoming an editor, created and wrote KFF Health News’ “Ask Emily” column, helping consumers navigate the bumpy rollout of the Affordable Care Act. She previously worked at the California Health Care Foundation’s Center for Health Reporting, USA Today, and The Sacramento Bee. She graduated from Stanford University.
