The Independent: U.K. family planning foreign aid cash ‘will save woman’s life every 90 minutes’
“Britain will commit an extra £45m in new aid to provide family planning and contraception around the world, the government has announced. Ministers say the new cash will help the 214 million women worldwide who lack modern contraception but do not want to get pregnant — and could save the life of a woman every 90 minutes.
