NPR: Why Is The News About TB So Bad?

It’s difficult to accurately count TB cases. … TB is inextricably linked to poverty. … Newer treatments against TB aren’t in wide use. … Efforts to control TB focus on symptomatic cases rather than early stage or pre-symptomatic cases…” (Shaikh-Lesko, 10/16).
