Isaïe Medah, physician and director general of public health in Burkina Faso, discusses the implementation of the meningococcal serogroup A conjugate vaccine (MenAfriVac, MACV) in Burkina Faso. Medah writes, “I believe we should continue developing new effective meningitis vaccines to defeat the remaining causes of epidemic meningitis.
