What’s Next for U.S. Global Health Diplomacy? A Town Hall Forum with Ambassador Eric Goosby
The Kaiser Family Foundation hosted a town hall-style forum with Ambassador Eric Goosby, the newly named head of the State Department’s new Office of Global Health Diplomacy as well as U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator, to explore the goals and objectives of the new office. The office is intended to guide diplomatic efforts to advance the United States’ global health mission to improve and save lives and foster sustainability. The hour-long session was moderated by Jen Kates, a Foundation Vice President and Director of Global Health and HIV Policy.
