Amaya Diana is a policy analyst with KFF’s Program on Medicaid and the Uninsured. In this role, she conducts research and policy analysis related to health insurance coverage and access to care for low-income populations, with a focus on Medicaid 1115 waiver activity. Prior to joining KFF, she was a research coordinator for Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel in the University of Pennsylvania’s Department for Medical Ethics and Health Policy.
Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in health and societies with a concentration in health care markets and financing from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government.
