2024 Women’s Health Survey

The 2024 KFF Women’s Health Survey is the latest in a series of nationally representative surveys on women’s health conducted by KFF since 2001. The survey’s objective is to track and document women’s experiences and knowledge related to health and well-being. The 2024 survey includes a nationally representative sample of 6,246 adults ages 18 to 64, including 5,055 women and 1,191 men, and was conducted from May 15 to June 18, 2024. To better understand health care disparities, the survey includes representative samples of Black, Hispanic, and Asian or Pacific Islander women as well as those who identify as LGBT+. The initial briefs are focused on abortion experiences, knowledge, and attitudes among reproductive age women in the U.S., as well Florida and Arizona, two states with abortion ballot measures in the 2024 election. Future briefs will focus on women’s experiences with contraception, fertility services, mental health, and intimate partner violence and other topics related to health care access, cost, and insurance coverage.
