Rakesh Singh is vice president of health policy initiatives at KFF. In this role, Singh helps manage projects across the topics KFF works on and conceives of and collaborates on creative efforts to synthesize and translate work for broader audiences.
Singh previously served as vice president for communications at KFF and held various communications roles since joining the organization in 2000.
He previously worked at the Alliance for Health Reform, on the health staff of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee and on the staff of U.S. Representative Jim Cooper of Tennessee. Singh holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington University in St. Louis.
