PAHO/WHO: Haiti launches campaign to vaccinate over 2 million children against diphtheria, with PAHO support
“In the coming weeks, more than 2.3 million Haitian children between the ages of one and 14 are expected to be vaccinated against diphtheria, a bacterial infection that causes throat inflammation and difficulty breathing and that in severe cases can lead to death.
