Mikhaila Richards joined KFF in 2022 as a communications officer. She previously worked at the Association for American Medical Colleges, the National Association of County and City Health Officials, Blue State Digital, and the Advisory Board Company.

Richards earned a bachelor’s degree in government from Smith College and a master’s degree in society, human development, and health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
