Women’s Health Policy: Reproductive Health
Reproductive health remains an integral component of women’s overall health and well-being. From preventive screenings to prenatal care to diagnostic and treatment options, the scope of reproductive health care has grown tremendously in recent decades. Private and public insurance coverage, provider relationships, and the availability of health care clinics facilitate women’s access to and use of reproductive health services. Federal, state, and local policymakers all play a role in ensuring women’s access to quality reproductive health care.
