H.R. 708 – To restrict assistance to foreign organizations that perform or actively promote abortions

The bill would restrict U.S. foreign assistance funds from being appropriated to any organization (private, NGO, multilateral, etc.) that performs or promotes abortions except in the case where the mother’s life is at threat or where the pregnancy was due to forcible rape or incest.
