This session examines the elements of the UNAIDS strategy ‘Getting to Zero’ from the perspective of community.
This session will explore the accomplishments and challenges of the creation and the implementation of national strategies in four countries with varying HIV epidemic profiles: South Africa, Swaziland, Brazil and the USA.
This session will focus on the ongoing HIV epidemic of the USA and Canada. It will describe the epidemiology of HIV in the region, and explore the health disparities, which continue to undermine HIV prevention and care efforts.
Plenary: Challenges and Solutions
This session will discuss what is required to address these increasing medical and psychosocial challenges among adults 50+ living with or newly diagnosed with HIV.
