Basis For Seniors’ Impressions of Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit

Nearly half (48%) of seniors who have a favorable or unfavorable impression of the Medicare drug benefit say that this is impression is based either on their own experience (35%) or what they’ve learned from friends and family (13%). About four in ten (41%) say their impression is based on what they’ve heard from the media, and 6% say it is based on some other source of information.
