USAID releases report on children in adversity
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) released a report (.pdf) titled “From Strong Beginnings To Youth Resilience: Pathways Out Of Adversity,” its sixth annual report to Congress on “The Assistance to Orphans and Other Vulnerable Children in Developing Countries Act” (Public Law 109-95). The report highlights the objectives of the U.S. Government’s “Action Plan on Children in Adversity” (.pdf) and provides details on how the Action Plan will be implemented.
USAID also launched a new “Children in Adversity” website.
