Secretary Kerry discusses funding of U.S. diplomatic and development efforts
In a speech given at the University of Virginia, Secretary of State John Kerry discussed U.S. diplomatic and development efforts and the need to maintain budgetary support for these programs. Among other things, Secretary Kerry highlighted existing U.S. initiatives such as the Global Health Initiative (GHI), the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and the Feed the Future (FtF) initiative.
