House Committee on Foreign Affairs holds hearing on “Combating the Ebola Threat”
The House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights and International Organizations held a hearing titled “Combating the Ebola Threat” with testimony from Director of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Tom Frieden, Assistant Administrator for the Bureau of Global Health at U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Ariel Pablos-Méndez, and Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of African Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, Bisa Williams, among other witnesses from non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
