Risha Irvin


Risha Irvin was a Senior Advisor for the Health Communication and Media Partnerships Program at the Kaiser Family Foundation, where she worked on the Greater Than AIDS campaign.  Risha’s work was primarily focused on helping state and local departments of health develop HIV prevention social marketing plans and on community outreach in HIV prevention to national organizations such as the Student National Medical Association.  Prior to joining KFF, Risha was a HIV Clinical Research Fellow at the San Francisco Department of Public Health and also a HIV Prevention Trials Network Scholar and has published in peer reviewed journals.  Risha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Spelman College and obtained her MD/MPH from Harvard Medical School/Harvard School of Public Health.
