3 Largest Disparities in Quality of Care for Hispanics in the U.S., 2005
Hispanics have higher rates than non-Hispanic Whites of new AIDS cases, not getting care, and patient-provider communication problems for children.

Notes: The relative rate is the rate for Hispanics divided by the rate for the comparison group of non-Hispanic Whites. It is one way to quantify the size of a disparity. For example, for the first measure listed, the rate of new AIDS cases for Hispanics is 3.7 times the rate of new AIDS cases for non-Hispanic Whites.
