Percent of Seniors Not Filling Prescriptions Due to Cost, 2006
Seniors in Medicare Part D reported significantly higher rates of not filling or delays in filling prescription drugs due to cost than their counterparts receiving drug benefits through employer plans or the VA.

Notes: Among non-institutionalized seniors taking 1 or more Rx. Did not fill or delayed filling prescriptions due to cost refers to within the past twelve months. VA is Department of Veterans Affairs. Reference group for statistical significance is Part D coverage (*p<0.05).
